Two things that were never supposed to sit this close together end up sharing the same space anyway, and neither one backs down first.
It opens rich and warm, grounded, held together on purpose.
Structure first. Something defined, something kept in check.
Then a spiced, dry edge pushes into it, closer than it has any business being, close enough to unsettle the balance without breaking it outright.
A softer note follows right after, almost floral, out of place next to everything so heavy around it.
It doesn't calm things down. If anything, it makes the whole thing harder to pin down.
Nothing in this one fully wins. The warmth doesn't burn off the edge, and the edge doesn't cut through the warmth.
They just keep occupying the same space, refusing to sort themselves out into one thing or the other.
That was never going to end in harmony. It ends in two things that can't stop returning to each other, long after distance stopped doing what it was supposed to.

Enemies to lovers - my absolute favourite candle in the Lunox collection. Because somehow it captured the accurate smell, right like I would imagine it.
And it's not persistent, the scent begins small and starts to weave around you until you can't stop to notice it. And by then you have already fallen for it. So yeah, for me this is the perfect enemies to lovers candle and definitely my absolute favourite!
